Public consultation

The Belgian Competent Authority for REACH  (BECA) is requesting an advice from WCSR (Belgian Scientific Committee REACH) on selecting the most scientifically appropriate analytical method for a list of substances restricted under the annex XVII of REACH.

BECA and WCSR invite interested parties to submit relevant references to analytical methods in the context of this request of advice.

The substances and the matrix to be analysed are the following :

• Nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylates in textile
• Cr(VI) in leather
• Phthalates in soft PVC
• Lead in metallic alloys
• Lead in plastics
• PAH in plastics.
